Uta Beyer is a social documentary photographer based in Germany. In her work she investigates issues of habitat and belonging, everyday life, and the material world of objects and things. Uta is an MA graduate in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the University of the Arts London, London College of Communication. Her photographs have been exhibited in galleries, museums, and artists’ talks internationally. She has published two monographs – Korpus 18 and Heimlich – featuring the housing situations of various social groups in Tbilisi, Georgia.
